dhikr.

DhikrLock shields the apps that pull you away. To open one, you complete a short dhikr first. Every distraction becomes a doorway back to Allah.

★★★★★ Real reviews from Muslims building the habit

How the lock works

Three steps. One habit.

You keep the phone you already have. DhikrLock just changes what it asks of you before it opens.

Step 01

Choose your apps

Pick the apps that pull you away. Social, video, games, anything. DhikrLock guards them with iOS Screen Time.

Step 02

A shield appears

Try to open one and it stays locked at the operating system level. No shortcuts, no bypass, no willpower required.

Step 03

Complete your dhikr

Tap through your count. The app unlocks for a window you choose, then quietly re-locks so the next reach is intentional too.

The moment before the feed

Every distraction becomes a doorway.

You already reach for your phone dozens of times a day. DhikrLock meets you at that reach and turns it into remembrance, without shame and without asking you to give up your life.

Allahu Akbar
Allah is the Greatest
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللّٰهَ
Astaghfirullah
I seek Allah's forgiveness

Set your own count for each session. Seven to begin, thirty three for the Sunnah, a hundred when your heart asks for more.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered.

Does DhikrLock actually block my apps?
Yes. DhikrLock uses Apple's Screen Time framework, the same system iOS uses for parental controls. Blocked apps stay blocked at the operating system level until you complete your dhikr. There are no shortcuts and no bypasses.
How much does DhikrLock cost?
DhikrLock is available on the App Store as a monthly, yearly, or one time lifetime purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in iPhone Settings.
Can DhikrLock see which apps I block?
No. Apple's Screen Time framework gives the app an encrypted, opaque token that only iOS can read. We never see the names of the apps you guard, your usage data, or anything inside those apps. Your selection stays on your device.
What counts as dhikr in the app?
Each session uses one of four core remembrances: SubhanAllah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar, or Astaghfirullah. You set the number of repetitions, for example 7, 10, 33 or 100, and tap to count each one.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You sign in with Apple or email during onboarding so your progress, stats and subscription stay tied to you across devices and reinstalls. With Apple Sign In it takes a single tap.
Is DhikrLock on Android?
Not yet. DhikrLock is built for iPhone and relies on Apple's Screen Time framework, which Android does not have.
